Generator Smoke No.5 is used for signaling/screening purpose.
Can be used in any terrain including snow bound and moist land. Can be carried on person. Ammunition is fit for air drop. Firing instructions are printed on the body.
Quality Assurance system is based in accordance with ISO standard ISO-9001, IS-2500/BS-6000, related JSS/BIS/IND/(ME) specification and store drawing and specification.
Design ensures total safety during handling, storage and transportation.
The ammunition has an overall reliability of 97.5%.
Each Generator Smoke is packed in a polythene bag followed by inner plastic container. 10 such containers are then packed in steel/wooden box which is fit for Air-drop.
