This Ammunition is designed to fight against enemy Aircraft / ships from Warship. It is made in two versions. Cartg. 76.2 mm HE Fuzed with variable time fuze for combat purpose and Cartg. 76.2 mm Practice used for practice purpose.

The raw materials used for components are tested by independent Quality Assurance Wing of the user. During manufacturing stage, quality surveillance, by both the producer and the service inspector are provided. Major components are test fired and only the passed proof components are taken into final assembly of the ammunition. The final round is dynamically proved.
This ammunition is safe during handling, transit and storage.
Due to its design and careful manufacture, this ammunition is very reliable.
3 Cartgs. are packed in a Wooden box No. S.2 MK-1 (IN) with Plug representating Fuze or Plug HE/Pre fragmentation shell.
