| FUNCTION
: The ILLG. Shell is fired alongwith cartg. from Indian Field Gun. It can achieve range upto 17 Kms. The variable ranges are achieved by addition of charges. The shell is fired with time mechanical fuze, present to ensure ejection at the desired height and range. The illuminant canister supported with parachute and spin break system provides intense illumination on the ground covering an area of 600 mtrs. Radius. |
