| PURPOSE OF AMMUNITION : |

Cartridge 30 mm HE |
The round with HE shell is primarily for use against Air Craft as Close in Weapon System (CIWS). |

Cartridge 30 mm Practice |
The round with inert filled shell mainly used for training the ships gun crew. |
| c) |
Cartridge 30 mm Tracer |
The round with tracer shell is used for practice firing and for checking the gun mount fire direction. |
